LAS VEGAS — Wellness is no longer a fringe add-on at business events. It’s become a defining expectation and event organizers are paying attention.

What once meant a morning yoga class or a smoothie bar has evolved into fully integrated wellness experiences that drive attendee engagement, enhance learning and deepen loyalty. Few companies embody this shift as strongly as Caesars Entertainment, which has long been at the forefront of weaving wellness into events.

At ConferenceDirect Xperience (CDX) 2025, held July 29-Aug.1 at Caesars Palace, Caesars set a new benchmark for what wellness at scale can look like.

The program blended business education with rejuvenation, offering private cooking classes, yoga and breathwork, gratitude writing opportunities, botanical drinks front and center, helicopter tours and an offsite evening at the F1 X experience.

“Wellness has been a focus of Caesars Entertainment for many years now and it was an honor to share a few of our offerings with this ConferenceDirect group,” Kelly Gleeson Smith, Senior Vice President of Sales at Caesars Entertainment, said. “We are committed to wellness and will continue to provide new and innovative ways to engage and delight our clients, just as we did with this group.”

Setting the Tone for Transformation

The event opened with a tapping exercise designed to realign the three layers of the brain led by Dami Kim, Executive Director of Corporate Wellness at Body & Brain Wellness.

Later that day, wellness expert and founder of Dawn of the Earth, Sepideh Eivazi, guided a somatic breathwork session, entitled “Igniting Tranquil-TEA,” an experience designed to reset the nervous system.

Her message extended beyond the session. Each attendee received ethically sourced, chemical-free teas in their amenity bags, a way to nourish the senses while supporting global farming communities.

That purpose-driven approach carried through to the event gifting. Attendees received bags crafted by Sudara, a certified B Corp (Benefit Corporation) dedicated to ending human trafficking through economic empowerment.

Wellness activities have been offered during ConferenceDirect gatherings in the past, but never like this.

“Take the breathwork session. We had more sign up than we anticipated. Everyone loved it,” J.J. Wills, Senior Vice President, Marketing Programs and Business Development, ConferenceDirect, said.

Wellness wasn’t the only innovation. Braindates, small peer-sharing sessions, allowed attendees to select topics via an app, such as driving meeting attendance, balancing work with personal life and event risk management.

SnapSight, an AI-powered platform, delivered real-time session summaries, allowing attendees to revisit and absorb key takeaways on demand, long after sessions ended.

Also featured was a smart menu that enabled attendees to scan a QR code at buffet stations to instantly filter menu options to match their personal dietary preferences.

By combining wellness practices with collaborative education, CDX 2025 delivered not just content, but transformation.
