Bud Rebedeau, Founder of The Rebedeau Group, Dies at 83

Chicago, IL – Francis “Bud” Rebedeau, who founded the show and association management firm The Rebedeau Group in 1948, died January 7 at the age of 83.

Rebedeau was chairman of the Chicago-area company and had been part of the exhibition industry for more than 50 years. He was active in several industry associations, including the Society of Independent Show Organizers and Meeting Professionals International.

Rebedeau was battling cancer when he died peacefully in the company of family members. He is survived by Fern, his wife of 53 years, and daughters Susan and Mary Beth. Mary Beth Rebedeau is the former executive director of SISO and current president of The Rebedeau Group.

Services were scheduled for Sunday through Panozzo Brothers Funeral home in Chicago Heights, IL. A funeral mass was planned for Monday.
