WALWORTH, Wis. —Two leaders in their respective fields — venue management company ASM Global and Mecum Auctions — have inked a multiyear partnership that will create centralized booking for Mecum’s events at more than 200 ASM Global venues nationwide. Mecum is known for its auctions of collector cars and motorcycles, along with vintage auto-related memorabilia.
The partnership also gives Mecum access to ASM Global’s team of event managers and marketing professionals. In addition, ASM’s Event Innovation Team will add their creative touch to the existing event formats by securing entertainment and developing enhanced experiences for VIPs.
“As Mecum Auctions continues to expand in the world of entertainment, strengthening our relationship with ASM Global simply made sense,” said Mecum Chief Executive Officer Dave Magers. “We look forward to the opportunities this partnership will provide for our customers and fans as Mecum and ASM Global work together to enhance the overall Mecum experience throughout the country.”

In January, Mecum Auctions held its live classic and collector car auction at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fla., featuring more than 2,000 vehicles. The next event is happening this week at the ASM Global-managed State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. In April of 2020, ASM Global developed the VenueShield environmental hygiene protocol, which is used in that facility, as well as its more than 300 stadiums, arenas, convention centers, entertainment districts, theaters, amphitheaters, and equestrian and recreational centers.
