Santa Monica, CA – Tigra Tsujikawa was named brand director for Advanstar Communications Powersports Group and will play a lead role in building ties between the motorcycle industry and Advanstar’s portfolio of 13 Progressive International Motorcycle Shows and Dealernews International Powersports Dealer Expo.
Tsujikawa, who will be based at Advanstar’s headquarters in Santa Monica, CA, was most recently marketing manager for the affinity programs offered by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). She will lead the development of the 13 Progressive shows and hone the attendee experience and the relationships with the motorcycle industry leaders and partners.
“Tigra is well known to many of the leaders of the powersports industry,” said Advanstar Executive Vice President Danny Phillips. “Her passion and understanding of the needs of rides, original equipment manufacturers, aftermarket manufacturers and dealers will play a major role in the expansion of our powersports products.”
Motorcycles are also more than a job for Tsujikawa. Advanstar called her a leader in the realm of women motorcycle fans who spearheaded the development of the AMA International Women and Motorcycling Conference and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies. “It is exciting to join a team that has been so involved in our lifestyle and livelihood,” Tsujikawa said.
