CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) revealed the Gold 100 Class of 2024, recognizing the 100 largest shows held in the U.S. in 2024.
This year’s Gold 100 shows range from less than 350,000 NSF to more than 1 million NSF, and represent $1.7 billion in estimated exhibit space value, based on a $40.04/SF average space rate. Thirty-six of the Gold 100 shows were managed by independent organizers, while 64 were managed by associations, societies or other not-for-profits.
The overall total NSF of all the shows is 42,531,148, while they brought together more than 110,000 exhibiting companies and roughly 3 million attendees. The Class of 2024 notched some growth over the shows of 2023, with NSF increasing by 4.5%, exhibitor count rising 7.3% and total attendance growing 3.4%.
The teams behind the Gold 100-ranked shows are invited to TSE’s annual Gold 100 Awards & Summit, an illustrious industry event known for its glamorous celebrations and high-level networking opportunities. Each show qualifies for one waived registration to the event.
This year’s Gold 100 Awards & Summit is taking place October 14-17 at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, Calif., and the official rankings of the Gold 100 shows will be revealed onsite. Registration for the event will open on July 15.

The Gold 100 Awards & Summit is also the backdrop for the Gold 100 Grand Awards, a recognition program for the shows that were on the cutting edge in a variety of categories, like Stickiest Show Floor, Most Extreme Results from Social Media and the Greatest Trade Show of the Year, in 2024.
