MUNICH — In what is certain to be a powerhouse partnership, the world’s largest sports trade show, ISPO Munich, to be held December 3-5, 2024 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München, will be including an account with JOOR, the world’s largest digital wholesale fashion platform, at no additional cost for all exhibitors as part of their participation package.
The JOOR Passport and virtual showroom will allow exhibitors to expand their trade show presence from four weeks before to three months after the event. The platform works on an iPad app, which can be used during trade show appointments, as well as offline 24/7 for virtual sales.
The technology, which is used by retailers as well as brands, manages every aspect of wholesale purchasing, from order placement to payment processing. Brands create their own curated virtual showrooms with virtual presentation tools. They can run reports with real-time data for bulk buying. There is also an integrated checkout solution, JOOR Pay, which allows buyers to use their preferred payment methods. The platform is also an information resource, offering updates on the latest products, trends and innovations in the sports and outdoor industries.
JOOR’s B2B wholesale service is used by 14,000 brands, including major designers like Saint Laurent, Giorgio Arman and Umbro, and more than 600,000 buyers from 150 countries in the luxury, fashion, footwear, accessories and sports sectors.

The introduction of this technology into the trade show arena aligns with a shift in the retail landscape away from the Direct-to-Consumer approach and toward prioritizing wholesale channels. In a recent trends report published by JOOR on the 5 Top Trends in Wholesale for 2024, 33% of the brands surveyed reported a shift from DTC to wholesale. These brands reported expecting an average of 27% growth in their wholesale business this year and noted that they are investing in this channel over their DTC retail stores and E-commerce channels.
“We are very excited to partner with ISPO to showcase our digital wholesale ecosystem for the fashion industry at their prestigious trade show this fall,” Kristin Savilia, CEO at JOOR, said. “With JOOR’s advanced hybrid selling experience, we aim to provide participating brands with the tools they need to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.”
