  • The Meetings Mean Business Coalition (MMBC) relaunched its Worth Meeting About campaign to highlight the value of face-to-face meetings.

  • Cobo Center will host the North American International Auto Show through 2025, after the show signed a new 8-year deal with Cobo in July.

Professional Beauty Association/360 Live Media Partner for the International Salon and Spa Expo 2018

Scottsdale, Ariz. – On the heels of a successful International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) in January, the Professional Beauty Association announced it has partnered with 360 Live Media to employ its experience design expertise for ISSE next January in Long Beach, Calif. The show, already the biggest of its kind on the West Coast, drew 35,000 attendees this year.

Steve Sleeper, Executive Director of PBA, said in a release announcing the news that 360 Live Media was chosen “because they have a great track record of helping associations like ours take a great event and make it perform at an even higher level.” Sleeper noted in post-show comments that not only did attendance grow at the show this year, but membership numbers also have increased. 

The 2017 show featured sold-out education programs in addition to heavy traffic on the show floor. PBA officials said many exhibitors featured bigger and brighter booths, new branding and popular stage presentations. 

360 Live Media is expected to help use its strategy-driven approach to further build the PBA brand experience, generate revenue and engage the relevant communities to produce positive business results. PBA already is the largest trade organization for the industry. 

360 Live Media CEO Don Neal said his team is “excited to join them in helping maximize the impact of the 2018 experience.”
