Donn Sanford Passes Away

Tucson, AZ - Donn Sanford, an exhibition industry innovator who  co-founded  EXPO Magazine with his daughter Donna Sanford, died on August 30 at his home in Tucson, AZ.  Donn began his career as a reporter, photographer, news director and TV producer. During the ‘60s, he founded The Sanford Organization, an association management company where he served as Executive Director for numerous associations,  notably the Trade Show Exhibitors Association  and its Trade  Show About Trade Shows. He was an avid collector of miniature books and published a three- volume set on “Why Collect Miniature Books?”  His daughter, Donna Sanford, the Publisher of EXPO magazine since 1989,  can be reached at (913) 344-1379 or dsanford@ascendmedia.com.
